Public facts
We show utility, program, city, and source facts even when we have no tie to a service team.
How we earn money
We are clear about how we are paid.
This guide is independent. We are not a utility, city, state office, or rebate program.
How we may earn money
We may be paid when you ask for help
We may earn money from research, project help, or a link to a service team. We will tell you about these business ties. A service team cannot change official program facts.
Service team ties
If we may be paid for a lead or project, we will tell you before you choose.
No promised result
Payment does not change who can get a rebate. The program staff make the final choice.
Questions
Ask before you act
If a page does not make a business tie clear, contact us. We want you to know what is a fact, what is an estimate, and when we may be paid.
